The undergraduate programme of studies in Chemistry includes core courses (compulsory) and elective courses. These options allow you to specialise in areas of chemistry covering also issues related to teaching pedagogy.
Being student-centered, our study programme is far from lectures as the main means of instruction. We focus on cooperation rather than competition and we allow peer-review. Our professors are not just a source of knowledge but facilitators of learning that strive not only to teach our students what to think but also how to think.
As most of the literature is written in English, the knowledge of academic English is highly recommended. That is why, it is compulsory for all students to successfully complete a series of foundation courses in Academic English for Chemistry in order to improve their reading, writing and oral skills.
