3C Summer School vol.3
๐ Chemistry department, University of Crete
๐
6 July - 10 July 2026
We are excited to invite you to 3C Summer School Vol. 3!
The primary focus of the Computational Chemistry Crete Summer School remains the advanced computational modeling of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and related porous materials. Led by a team of active Professors and PhD researchers, the program offers a premier learning experience designed specifically for undergraduate and early-stage Masterโs students. Participants will engage in a rigorous curriculum that bridges the gap between theory and practice through expert presentations and intensive, hands-on computational sessions.
The program is primarily targeted at undergraduate and early-stage postgraduate students interested in gaining practical experience in:
๐น Ab-initio methods
๐น Grand Canonical Monte Carlo simulations
๐น Molecular Dynamics
๐นModern applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
๐ฏ The objective of the school is to bridge theory and practice through a combination of lectures and hands-on training, with a strong focus on contemporary methodologies used in both research and industry.
๐น Participation is free of charge (transportation and housing not covered)
๐น Participants must bring their own laptops
๐นLimited number of seats available (selection based on academic criteria)
๐น Registration deadline: May 31, 2026
