Novel Coordination Polymers
We design and synthesize new functionalized, rigid, carboxylate-based multidentate ligands that allow the construction of novel open-framework coordination polymers (MOF's or PCP's). The gas sorption properties, including H2, CO2, CH4, N2, Ar and various hydrocarbons, are extensively investigated.

Templated Synthesis of Novel Nanoporous Inorganic and Organic-Inorganic Materials
We are developing new, functionalized nanoporous materials based on condensable organo-silane precursors, for gas storage and catalytic applications.
Templated Synthesis of Novel Chalacogenide-based (S, Se, Te) Nano-structured Materials
We are using well defined, metal-chalcogenide soluble clusters for the construction of open-framework non-oxidic materials.
Solvothermal Synthesis of Novel Crystalline, Organic-Inorganic Semiconductors
We are exploring (hydro)solvothermal reactions for the development of new, hybrid metal-chalcogenides.
